broken hub flange

well i learned that if your manual hubs that you just got, do not fit and your zip the wheel down, they break at the flange. Are they fixable or are they junk now.

How did they not fit? (not seated down all the way?)

Depending on how it's broken, there might be some possibility you could weld them, but I don't know what their exact aluminum alloy composition is whether it would work well or not.

i thought i made sure they were flush up against the rotor and when i zip the wheel down i heard a pop and yet it was to late, they look to be alumanin, i have thought about taking them to a local welding shop and having tig back together.

Maybe a dumb question but you did replace the wheel bearing nuts with the correct type right?

ummmmm What? I guess that was my problem, o well i am going to put warn on next year when i do an axle swap
