So I broke my rear driveline on the rear yoke yesterday... I called around today and all I could find was come look at our junk pile and it'll cost $95, but that junkyard is a ripoff and I try not to go there anyways.

So, since the only part that broke was the rear yoke. Couldn't I pull the yoke out of the slip shaft and replace it with a different one, or is that where they change the length for the different B2 drivelines.

No joke the yard that said $95 has tried to charge me double what other yard will, and once they tried to charge me $80 for a $60 new map sensor once. So I imagine any other yard would give me a better price.

Oh and of course I imagine saying that its a '84, 4.0l swap, fm145, 4wd with a "cv" (2 u joints in the front) driveline. might help too.

You should post where your location is, perhaps a member is close and can help. Can you also post a pic so I, and maybe others, know exactly which part you're talking about?

I didnt think of that. Im in Moses lake, WA
as for a photo of the actual shaft. Im waiting on my buddy to take a photo, the truck is at his place.

But its the same style as this, and I broke the ear on the shaft end that is still bolted to the axle.

As long as the splines match, you should be able to swap just the yoke.
