C4 or C6 ???

93 should still be cable driven.

I hadn't had my 73 Econoline long before helping sister and BIL haul some firewood, and loaded it with all the biggest rounds from the trees we had cut. The whole back end was loaded with those big chunks mostly stacked at least 2 high, and took them around 30 miles.
That thing never acted as if it was nothing at all


The C6 I started out with in the 73 one ton van would not cross the street without hitting 2nd gear.. Somehow it went bad after only a year or so and left me stranded on the side of an interstate off ramp just outside of Dallas. Wound up having to exchange it in a swap and purchase of a C4 that a cousins hubs had found from a yard there. I couldn't gripe cause he was in the know there, building cars and spending weekends at the tracks, and I was trying to get to New Orleans on an offshore rig. That C4 stayed with it till it dissappeared with a scrapper :/

Did it come with the 5.0 and the C6? Does it have a cable?

Just found my thread ,I bought it already swaped put the cable won't reach to conect to the c6 .it's titled as a 93 ford ranger just looks like it wasn't connected. Was woundering if it's possible to fix it it .

Pry need either a custom cable (i think they sell cut to length speedo cables...i think) or maybe try one from an F series
