they could also be to fit the lift laws. i know some states measure from the bumper. the thing just isnt practical. i would drive almost anything but i dont think i would drive that.

If i'm remembering correctly, ohios lift laws state that if you have a modifyed bumper(AKA drop bumper) then they will take the measurements from the bottom of the frame rails to the ground. To me, thats just the ugliest and dumbest thing i have ever seen.

well one you have to be mexican and did you see the for sale sticker in the window thats cause he probably still lives at home with his mother spends all of his drug money on that car and know his mother is kicking him out lol

i would say that the bumpers are for the lift laws... and i like the rear suspension setup and the wicked sweet IFS up front... :icon_rofl: i really want to know how that mexican gets into that thing... rope ladder? :icon_rofl:

Nope...he steps on the back bumper, and you can't see them but there are handholds on the trunk...then he climbs up onto the roof and drops down through the sunroof...Hertz style...

I wasn't going to respond to this thread until i saw this cool pic.



here are my thoughts on why i think donks, boxes, and bubbles are cool. Because it shows originality. It's totally american to do something over the top like this and want people to look at you. yes, they're totally impractical, but hells bells, who cares. something this silly looking is just cool by default.:icon_thumby:
some of them are a little over the top, but who wouldn't want a ride that looks like a hot wheels car on steroids?:icon_hornsup:
