Today while replacing a light bulb in my gauge cluster (87 Ranger) I noticed that it had a provision for a CEL, with a bulb and everything. I also noticed that wiring to make that light work is missing. What my question is: What is required to actually make this work? Other than the ovious pin for the connector.. Where do you run the wire from the plug to? Pin-out wise? I looked at the wiring diagrams I have but they leave a bit to be desired. I know its not intirely nessesary but it would be kinda nice to have an acual CEL to aid in diagnosing problems.. I know some one has probably done this so how'd you do it? Thanks :beer:
