So after a weekend of wheelin and muddin i noticed a funny sound in the front of the motor, and im now having some over heating problems when going up hills and such, the sound seems like its coming from the clutch fan but im not totally sure, should i be able to stop my clutch fan when my engine is warm?

being able to stop it at idle with your hand?

that is more a matter of pain tolerance, handspeed and finger strength.

If you are deft (truely deft not sarchastically deft) you can reach out
and grab a blade tip and stop the fan at idle.

Now I'll retire into the night giggling over all the bruised fingers on people who
want to learn how to do it themselves... and don't learn quickly...
