Well, weather was so nice we decided to hit up the coast today, took my Dakota, Grunizzle took his Ranger and my other buddy brought his jeep. Went to the Long beach peninsula on the Washington coast, cool thing about Washington is they let you drive on the beach. Dakota managed a solid 18MPG!!! That includes 25 miles of rodding around the sand and 75 freeway miles with the cruise set at about 77Mph, if it wasn't for the sand I was probably getting 20+MPG, impressive! Dakota did really well in the sand too, even in 2wd (open diffs). Ignore the Dakota and Jeep bumpers, they're works in progress.
