Same truck, used to be pretty. Then I got serious into modifying and wheeling, then flipped it...

Not so much worried about cosmetics anymore, I'd rather test the strength of the chromoly axles...

I had to have the 06 tails, I've grown to hate the gen3 lights.

Lol

That sucks man. Looks like it came a long way though. And I couldn't agree with you more about the '06 tails. Those are by far the best looking taillights for Rangers IMO.

You ought to bed-line your truck. :icon_idea::dunno:
The 2-tone on the green body was liner.
Looked cool, even held up with only scuffs on the roof in the rollover, but a PITA to keep clean. Waaayy to much scrubbing! And the Swampers get it filthy!

No doubt, I couldn't imagine having a 2.3 in a 4x4, unless it was a work commuter.

I'll soon be selling my drivetrain, radiator to driveshafts. It needs a SBF something fierce, even with my 4.0 mildly worked pushing a 4cyl gearset that turn 5.14s.

I make it sound bad, it's actually really quick and quite powerful. It's awesome in trails, just has a hard time cleaning tires in sticky mud.

That's one of my issues too since my 64"s settled.

I've decided to 3-link my rear at the same height, lower the front to match, and cut the fenders. That, bobbing the bed, ft bumper, sliders, 6pt cage, and a small block are all on the list for this winter.

Then just do a 6" block and an anti-wrap bar, or some really long traction bars.
Cheap and easy.

Btw what front springs did you use?

Maybe you should lower the front, you're never gunna get a driveshaft in there. I have mine limited @ 4" of down travel, way too much angle at the t-case.
In fact, my profile pic is without the front shaft and limit strap... Shh don't tell anyone, it looks cool...
