Look at the bumper thread in the body armor thread.

There's quite a few nice bumpers that have been made with winch mounts. Here's mine......

Thanks. Nope, I only have one good battery. I haven't had to use the winch for recovery yet so I'll see what happens when the time comes. As for the lights, there's currently no battery drain or alternator issues at all when they're used.

Any good 4x4 fab shop could make then for you.

Mine are made from 2x4 1/4" wall rectangle steel welded too the end s of the frame rails and gusseted with receivers in each for my winch.
Can send pics too your email.

those bumpers are pretty wicked. i like how the winch is sort of out of sight when set up and not just sticking out (Thumper113), but at the same time I don't know if I want a pre-runner bumper because it's still my DD. Any other ideas out there?

Here is a crappy pic of mine, I can post up a better one later with the winch installed...

The body is made out of 6"x6" square tube, 1/4" wall, the brackets are cut from 3/8's plate. The winch mounting surface has an extra 1/4" plate welded on it to make it 1/2" thick (overkill), and where the tow hooks are mounted it is 3/8's plate doubled up to make it 3/4" thick (overkill). Never weighed it, but with the 90# winch installed, I can pick it up and bolt it in place by myself, so i doubt that it weighs much more than 200# or so.
