D35 going in this weekend- IT'S IN !

Picked up a D35 TTB from a 92 explorer at JY a few weeks ago. Been replacing Ujoints, spindles and brakes then cleaning and painting since. Also replaced axle pivot bushings and radius arm bushings. I think I have everything I need except the Warn 37780 hubs.
I can't wait on the hubs, I'm pulling the 28 this weekend.
The JY pulled the whole assembly including steering arms, auto hubs, calipers and radius arms. Its got 3.73 gears to match my 7.5 out back. I've already got the Skyjacker +2" coils.
I will update after it's in. Fingers crossed.

Make sure you have a couple jacks, those beams are heavy and awkward.

Ohh yeah, got the 2 ton floor jack, 4 jack stands and 2 ton hoist overhead. Also have various 4x4s and 2x4s for cribbing. The family is out of town this weekend and don't want them to come home to find legs sticking out from under truck ! :shok:

It's in ! ! !

Just like everything, it took longer than planned, but it's back on the road.
Still waiting on my 37780 hubs, I've got the autos on til then and still need to get the drive shaft shortened. I used the time that the D35 was on the bench cleaning and repainting, replacing u joints w/ 760Xs, repacked bearings and replaced seals. Also put new brake lines and rebuilt calipers on and replaced all tie rods. Was able to get a lot of parts from Rockauto.com fast and inexpensive.

Thanks to all who have posted and done write-ups that made this and all my mods much easier. :icon_thumby:
