I'm tired of replacing the bearings in my D35. I've been reading up on the D44/D35 hybrid, Todds writeup here, The second wrtiteup here, (I forget who wrote that one), the 6 pages on the Explorer forum and the 94-96 FSB spindle article here on TRS as well as 4x4 Junkies writeup on actually narrowing the D44 TTB. Does anyone know if the calipers from an '80 thru '92 FSB or F-150 will physically attach to the D35 spindle? They look pretty close on the NAPA web site. I was thinking that if they actually could be installed on the D35 knuckle the whole 94-96 FSB spindle setup would be the tits way to go. Has anyone used this setup? Does the D44 TTB knuckle swap widen the track width of the D35 equipped RBV? One would use the D44 outer stub shaft correct? They would be compatible to the D35 axles?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
