Doing all of your banking online is safer than doing it in person. You have less chance of getting shot if the bank gets robbed while you just happen to be in there.

I got a letter from the internal revenue service today and said to myself "no effin way thats a check".

My reality was not shattered, it was a letter informing me how to check the status of my stimulus check.

I can't help but think, they could have just put the check in that envelope and saved us both some time?

We all know im just using it to buy burboun and a premium pass to porn hub but still!

Yes, got $2400 for me and the wife. Parked it in the savings account for now. Will probably us it to pay property tax. If I didn't owe on a bunch of crap (thank you, 8 years of Obama) I'd buy a set of Dick Cepek wheels for the Sport Trac.

I'm trying to figure out how to use it. I know were gonna pay this back and I truly don't "need" it but I need some stuff for my business. If i use the stimulus money for business expenses i can write it off under the business but then still need to pay it back under my personal... Im very confused. I may just stash it until they want it back. Yay im now a personal bank for the government? Or maybe just give it all to the local food bank, they can't ask for it back if I gave it all to charity right?

That'll buy you like what, 6 MREs... those things are insanely expensive now. I get mine partially expired from my family still in the Army. The freeze dried fruit salad is the best. Don't put water in it, just eat the biscuit dry.

I'm still "Payment status unavailable".

I think next year when I file my taxes, I'll send them a piece of paper that says "Payment status unavailable" on it instead of a check.
