A European distributor for a Ford 2.8L Cologne V6 works great and are available on ebay. I bought one, and it worked perfect. Only issue was that the cap has female sockets instead of male, so you have to change your spark plug wires. Hook the red and green wires from your wiring harness right to the new Euro distributor and away you go. The one I got seems pretty high quality.

Mustang II's and Pintos had an optional Bosch distributor that had that style of distributor cap. It was otherwise totally functional in a Duraspark setup just like the normal Ford distributor... I had one in a truck years ago and it worked perfectly, other than the plug wires being somewhat hard to come by.

Ford distributors have male terminals on the cap, Bosch has female terminals so the wires are different on one end.

Is wiring the bosch distributor the same as the duraspark ?
The bosch distributor only has two wires out I bought a duraspark module would I be better off using a gm HEI and how does that get wired in ?
From what I read you don't need a module with this ?
