Doh,Help please

Hey all;i just finished ny tranny swap a4ld to m5od.I wired the neutral sense switch to the neutral safety wires,but the idle is way to high and i need to take it through emissions testing.(aircare)
Does any one know how to bring down the idle can i use a toggle switch in the wire going to the ecu.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

umm im no expert, but i went the other way - m5od to auto c4, but I thought if you went from the al4d to a manual, then you needed to get an ecu from a manual.

My c4 is not computer controlled, so all i had to do was wire neutral safety.
your computer is probably looking for input from the auto tranny, which isn't there now.

hopefully someone who's done that swap will chime in.

ya ill probably have to get the manual ecu,but moneys tight so...
