Well, no. I'm Canadian, and that doesn't describe me at all. HOWEVER, I *do* like poutine. If you don't know what that is, it's fries with gravy and melted cheese on top.
Love me some fries and gravy, i was just being jokingly stereotypical

I love you my northern brother. :icon_thumby:

The problem is idle speed is not very pollution friendly. Ever notice your idle doesn't drop instantly when you let off the gas and coast in a modern vehicle? They usually hold to 1,200 or more rpms because its actually "cleaner" to run this way. Running less than 1500-2000 at 65-70 would get the hippies all upset.
When did we start caring what hippies think?

I think it's funny how identically displaced engines from different manufacturers vary so drastically in performance. Years ago I drove a Dodge Shadow with a 3.0 V6, man, that thing was a rocket! Even with an automatic behind it. It was a pretty light car though. I'd be interested to drive a 3.0 powered Probe - might be pretty snappy, I had an '89 Probe with the 4 cylinder non turbo that would move right along.

I get between 14 and 20 with my 4 cylinder Ranger depending on the season and it has a 5 speed. I don't even want to know how an automatic would be in that truck... I'm guessing it'd be within spitting distance of my V10 in the winter. :bad:
