86 BII 4WD. Is there a front and rear to the cv joint driveshaft? The one that fits my BII looks the same at both ends. I have a rebuilt driveshaft that is too short to fit but it has a sticker on it that says "This end toward transfer case." That sticker makes me wonder if there is a difference I am not noticing in the right driveshaft.

when i had my 88 that stupid cv jointed shaft gave up on me. I pulled apart both ends to try to grease it up, and i swear they were both the same.

You can get one off ebay cut to custom length for about 170 with u-joints
