I've finally successfully removed the egr pipe that connects from the exhaust manifold, over the valve cover and connects to the egr valve on the intake manifold. My question is since the pipe has flare fittings, and the threads are on the outside, what cap/plug can I use to cap it off so I don't have an exhaust leak?

My credo
vertical and above ground
A male flare to pipe thread, male or female, using a pipe threaded cap to plug. Or a plug like those in the side of a manual trans. Flare will fit the manifold, just like the factory, and the pipe thread will allow standard pipe stuff...

5/8 flare nut cap did the trick.
