European 2.9

What did they do different to get the extra ponies out of the stock 2.9? Was it the different injection system? I have read they were 150-160hp.

they had different emissions systems. euro emissions are more lax.

heads are different,as well as injection system.in the middle ov building a new motor over here using a 2.9 twin turbo technics conversion motor i picked up for 100 uk pounds.not sure if to use it yet as also can get hold of a 24v cossie 2.9 220 bhp and over 200 pound ov torque so not sure what to do yet wont be until next winter anyway
