I was replacing a leaking clutch slave on my 1996 RWD (and clutch master due to a destroyed quick release connection), since the previous owner only replaced the pressure plate and clutch disc (and completely mangled the quick release).
Anyway, while the gearbox were off I thought I'd replace the rear main seal since the truck is past 230k km. Unfortunately I couldn't get the flywheel off, as none of my wrench tops would fit snugly. There're obvious witness marks from someone whacking on them with too big a tool.
So, what size are the heads on the flywheel bolts? I tried a 17mm top, which was too big, 16mm too small. Might it be imperial, being a US car and all?
