I'm working on Project 1999 2.3LP and have decided to try and make the 3.0L dash work rather than running an all aftermarket dash (PlanB). There are only 3 things I'd like to make work. Oil pressure gauge, Temp gauge and the one I'm not sure of the tach. The 2.3 has the duraspark II if I remember correctly, so I'm hoping I can just run the tach wire to the 3.0L engine wire harness and have a working tach. Am I dreaming or can this be a reality? I thought I could use the 3.0L oil and temp sensors on the 2.3 and have them working as well. I'm also hoping to retain the cruise control on this truck. Will I need to keep the computer in tact for this to happen or can I eliminate that? Any help is appreciated.RB
