put a 2.0 and 3.5 ecoboost in them, make a 4 door with a 5 foot bed, and the extended with a 6 foot. then a regular cab with a 6 or 8 foot. you could make a raptor ranger type vehicle, manual T case, fox long travel with poped out fenders. it would be so cheap to revamp the outside a bit, and put new power and trans package in the truck. Id buy one in a few years when my ranger dies.I wish they would just leave the old one. It is essentially unchanged since 1983. All of the tooling was paid off years ago. Ford makes a tidy profit, but got greedy.
