not really sure what 100% the name is for it..but it's like the rear diff cover gasket, just for the front differential. would it be fine to just your RTV? Looking on rock auto atm and cannot find it.

I don't know if there is one for it. I know the SLA Dana 35 doesn't have one.

Just use black RTV, it will work fine. A gasket is a waste of money.

Even in my '84' Ford shop manual for the B11 said use RTV.

Ford has never used gaskets on diff covers...front or rear. Just RTV silicone.

If you insist, it's simple to cut an appropriate size circle out of gasket paper, from any auto parts store. $4 a sheet, last I checked.

Make the gasket fit inside the holes diameter and you won't have to punch holes for the bolts. Smear RTV on both sides and know it'll never leak.

Neither would a good bead of rtv alone.

Punching bolt holes in a custom gasket is easy, place the gasket on something hard and flat, place an appropriately sized socket where you want a hole, and whack with a hammer.
