So I am putting a 91 5.0 foxbody motor and trans in my ranger and have many questions, not sure if this is where I should post? Gathering parts and started pulling mustang motor and was wondering what kind of fuel pump I should put in tank. Truck is 4.0, Mustang motor has explorer upper and heads with mild cam? Was thinking of going with little more than I need and fuel regulator should control pressure...
Also I'm going to be selling 4.0 with 5speed out of ranger, reman motor from Jasper with about 35,000 on it.

Any 4.0l Ranger(1990 and up) in tank fuel pump will have enough flow for up to 300HP, so you will be fine

1991 5.0l should use a 43psi Fuel Pressure Regulator on the engine end and also have a return line like a 1990-1997 4.0l Ranger
1998 and up have regulator in the tank, and its 60psi, so you would need to change things
