yea it's a street truck what is the biggest drop pitman arm you can get? i did a sas on a 04 f-150 and just used a drop pitman arm and the drag link that joins at the tie rod. it turned out fine and it's alot bigger than the ranger. any way that might work?

If you get rid of those crazy-tall coils, you may be able to use a dropped arm, but with it like that I don't think there's a dropped arm big enough available to fix that (the largest Skyjacker arm only comes down 2" more if that's a regular dropped arm you have now).

There's no way around it. You need high steer.

Or rebuild your frame side track bar bracket. Your axle would have crazy lateral movement, but it would improve the bump steer.

I don't think you need that body lift...

I would say get some bigger tires but I'd be scared of killing those axles.

And yes, for the love of every deity ever thunk up or in existense, get high steer and don't try to do it yourself (like trying to weld a pitman arm to your knuckle... google "scary steering" and make sure your linkage NEVER looks like anything in there).

I recommend him... I took my passenger side knuckle to him... (for just one side it costs 150ish)

Also, you should pry cut and turn that axle to correct your pinion and caster angles

thanks for the ideas boys and don't worry it is still far from on the road yet. and before i started the sas the ranger had the 3 inch body and 4 inch susp on 35's so i am not building it to be practical or i would have just left it the way it was. And don't worry i am a licenced tech so there will be no pitman arm welding happining.
