I have a 4 inch suspension lift in my 94 ranger. The back is lifted with blocks (stock block+3" block) and I don't like the axle wrap it is giving me. Any of yall have suggestions on how to lift the rear without using blocks? I was thinking of using explorer leaf packs and getting a little bit of lift that way, but i would still need more to make the 4" of lift so i don't know what to do. What do yall think I should do? Any and all input will be greatly appreciated! THANKS!

Belltech 6400 extended shackles can be found at most if not all autoparts stores and run about $40-60.

Could also do a Chevy 64" leaf spring swap with the Belltech shackles.

I have a similar situation...stacked blocks. Im giong to use an explorer pack + the ranger main leaf, as well as belltech shackles to get rid of the "extra" block.

not to mention the Explorer pack has a beefier "over-load" spring which will help with the axle wrap...

I have skyjacker 4" in the front . In the rear I have explorer 4-leaf pack and autozone 7.5" chevy lowering shackles .The rear is almost 1" higher than the front. This is with stock block still being used.

Autozone shackles $29 Explorer leaves $20

When I did my front 4" lift, I did not want to stack blocks like Superlift wanted me to do. To get that missing 3" of lift, I did the suggested Belltech 6400 shackle and also did a Procomp short AAL while still utilizing the stock 2.5" block. Sits damn level too(but not anymore thank you saggy torsion bars!). That's the cheap way of doing it...maybe not the best but it works.

If I'd do it over again, I'd do about what's been said in this thread....Expo leafpack and shackle. Maybe a small 1.5" block off an 08+ truck just in case I needed more height. Or scratch that block idea and the 6400's and run Belltech 3" chevy drop shackles instead.

I repacked my ranger 3 leaf with an explorer 4 lead, giving me a 6 leaf pack, the end result is 3.5" of lift, extra payload, and the same quality ride. If you do this, combined with the 6400's (which I didn't do, yet), it should give you the lift your lookin for. I do suggest you use the explorer eyelet spring, as I used the ranger and my top leaf only is starting to sag
