Why my yard looks like a warzone...
The phone company knifed in fiber optic lines just by chance, I will have cable and high speed internet available without a dish.
Had a complete sewer system put in, new tank and drain field. It happened during the day so I didn't get any pics. While the hoe was there we had them pull dead trees out of the yard and live ones off the terrace. He wouldn't give a straight answer about what he was going to charge or I would have had him clean up the windbreak too. $150 extra for the treework he did do.
I had already used the ol' B with the "Roderick-Lean" single disk to smooth out around the tank. Not sure of the spelling but that is what brand my grandfather and dad say it is. It worked great though. I am going to let the laterials get some rain and a couple freeze cycles to settle before I mess with it.
Pulling stumps out of the yard with the mighty C
Ready to push into the burn pile:
The yard looks a lot better:
Pulling trees in with the '45:
Water time!
Before we did anything, stuff had been moved around as the family rooted for treasures:
The great-grandparent's bedroom, the car wallpaper is really cool.
The former guest bedroom, the one I picked out. It is the biggest and the only one with a floor register.
The kitchen:
Intricate backplash, don't see stuff like that anymore:
Wallpaper should be
The hidious carpet is out:
New carpet is waiting:
Ruh-row raggy!
Finally time to start making things look good rather than worse.
The other walls are actually the same color tan that is in the other rooms, only the one wall and the above the cabinets is green.
New insulation in my bedroom:
And that pretty much brings you up to current
