how do i know what oem lights i have on my 2014 f150? halo projectors or hid's

Um, you look at them and see if they are HID or not.

I'm really not sure if this is a trick question or not.

A HID will have a HID bulb, but a halogen projector will have a halogen bulb.


There is information in the DOT codes cast in the lens that tells you what kind of bulb it's for, but I don't know the code for HID. I think HID might be HG, but I am not sure. The charts lists HG as being a "Discharge forward lighting"lamp.
