First off, hello! I’m Ethan, a high school senior from Wisconsin. I work at a dealership changing oil and rotating tires 1.5 hours from my house.
Second off, my ranger is a 3.0 manual single cab step side 2WD with no power options and a beautiful bright red paint job. I absolutely love my lil truck. I’ve owned it since 90k miles (currently 145k) and I’ve tried my best to maintain it. Current mods are not plentiful but there’s more on the way. So far I have:
-06+ mirrors
-LED lights all around (directionals, all brake lights, reverse lights license plate lights, still have regular headlights though)
-Complete sound system (truck had premium sound when I got it but ended up upgrading the speakers to kenwood, adding a double din CarPlay head unit, added a sub and amp.)
-just a note- I didn’t want an extreme amount of bass so I separated a Samsung home theatre subwoofer from its amp, wedged it between the seats, and wired it up.
-added LED bed lights
- classmates cut my muffler out while I was in school hoping it would drive me crazy but I embraced it and threw a glasspack in its place just to rub in the fact that they wasted their time😂

That’s about it! If you have cared enough to read all the way down here, thank you. It’s not often people really care about me or my truck. I appreciate it.

That's a seriously long commute to work every day... You must love that job!

We use to pull some pranks like that in high school... never cut anyone's exhaust off though. Switching a couple plug wires... wiring the horn to key ON power or a turn signal circuit. It was a lot of fun.

Welcome to TRS...

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Funny you mention that... being a VW guy for most of my life... I have done that exact thing.
