My brother started swapping a 4L into his 2.9L ranger and we can't get it to start. we have spark, have pressure at the fuel rail, not sure how much as i don't have a tester but it will squirt at the schrader valve. but the injectors don't seem to be firing?
We swapped the whole interior, engine, and headlight harness from the 4L 1994 ranger into his 92. So I'm thinking it's an electrical issue, as the injectors are new refurb units. if anyone can let me know what wires should be getting power for the injectors to fire it would be greatly appreciated. (they get a very low voltage if you check from one part of the injector to the other, almost negligable, if that helps at all)
My other thought is the computer could be friend, but I don't know how to test that, and it was working when pulled from the other truck.
