Help with fuel gauge.

im trying to get my fuel gauge to work i know it isnt broken. i unpluged the wires from the fuel pump and turn the key over the gauge went to full, but when i pluged it back it went to the e. any help thanks

The sending unit in the tank is bad. To replace it requires the same work as a fuel pump, so if it's old replace it too.

sounds like the float has sunk. very common.

the foat not stuck i pulled it out of the tank and checked that already
