I'm picking up my first Ranger from a local used car lot on Monday. It's a '97 with the 4 banger and a manual transmission. It's got a straight pipe (no muffler) that splits to dual tail pipes with chrome tips, lol. It sounds horrible, so hopefully adding a cheapo muffler will kill the "ricey" sound.

I plan to drive it for a while as-is, then begin a 5.0 swap.

Anyway, I thought I'd register and start reading.

I haven't figured out how to post a new topic/question here, and if someone would help me i'd be thankful. I've got a question i'd like to have some help deciding on.
