Well our son moved here in April '23 with a front end crashed '02 Ranger XLT 127k miles. Airbags deployed. He unfortunately passed away from acute pneumonia apparently from complications of Covid. He wanted his 17 y/o son to have the truck so we sent it down to a body shop in Pompano owned by one of our son in laws. They did the body repairs and the truck from the fenders forward looks showroom. The engine was detailed, control arms, ball joints, shocks replaced, A lot of new wiring, core, rad and transmission cooler. Now on to the air bag repairs. I have the truck here at home, The OBD reads faults with the driver and passenger airbag circuits and the driver passenger seatbelt circuits. The SRS dash light is on (of course). I've sent the crash module out for reset, purchased airbags and clockspring. The seatbelts aren't locked and work fine including the dash warning and alarm for both driver and passenger. Once the crash sensor is re-installed and the clock spring and airbags are reinstalled (with battery disconnected of course), is there something or anything else we should be looking to do or replace so that the air bag system will be back to working condition and we can get that dang airbag warning light cleared? Thank you all for your helpful suggestions
