they said my fuel cap & tank failed!
well i replaced the cap $5.00 now i looked into the filler tube its $300 from ford :shok: well fk that!
i was tring to see if any1 else had this problem & se what they did to pass!
maybe little rigging of the filler tube is what i mite do! or put a disc in the filler tube run through inspection then pull it out! can be that bad since i dont smell gas & dont see any fuel on the ground when i over fill the tank!
any suggestions?

Thats one thing I like about Ohio no inspetions as long as its rergistered, insured, and has working lights you can drive it!

I don't like inspection either but there are cars/trucks that from 60 ft away, you can tell they ought to be off the road.

we were going to lift the bed & just get it though inspection then on a later date do the work that needs tobe done not just get around it then fk it forever just till i get the money up for the part & to still provide for my family!

This is where I will get my filler hose later this year. My mechanic friend is going to do it on side for a 100.00 dollars. There are less expensive ways out there. Find a couple of friends that can help you lift off the bed and replace it. Should not take more then 2-3 hours to do even for the beginner like me.
that is perfect right up my alley! $65 is much better then the 100's+ thanks i will get this asap & also going to look for the sending unit through them also!
