TRS has been my source for tons of info in my two years of ownership. I've built up my '98 to a capable off-roader with lots of restoration and mods. Thanks for having me!

What took you so long?

Wondering what size tire you're running and what did you do to get them under it?

Welcome to TRS...

LOL. You know, you read so much until you actually need to ask a a question.

I am running 33"; 33x12.5x15. I have a set of Patagonia M/T and a pair of BFG All-terrains. My other two Patagonias will arrive this week.
I have the Wulf Suspension 2-3" kit, which utilizes extended shackles and new torsion keys. I will be adding a 1" body lift in the next two weeks so I can turn down the torsion bars slightly and gain some articulation.

Did you run into issues with the shackles and interference with the exhaust?

I wondered on the front... it didnt look like there was a body lift in it. Your plan the let it back down and do a small body lift is a good idea.

I'm gonna see how well 33x10.50x15 on factory wheels fit with favoring the high side of factory specs. If I need more... a 1 inch body lift is my plan too.

No issues with the factory exhaust and the shackles. I also run a Flowmaster 40 muffler and 2.5" back.

On the lift, I did swap out my rear shocks for a set of Skyjacker BlackMax shocks. They are hydraulic, non-nitrogen charged and do better that nitro-charged options, IMO. On the front, I am running the Rancho RS5000 lift models since these are the longest stroke shocks you can get that will clear the CV shafts. I have both sway bars removed. My rig rides very nice, and I get a lot of compliments on how well it handles. I routinely take 1500mi trips and no issues with comfort.
