For a while I have had an ignition that will lock forward, and get stuck once in awhile. I am 99% certain it is being caused by the ignition starter switch located down on the top of the column being broken, since I've had the igntion out before, and found nothing there (being a locksmith). My question is; if I drop the steering column to get to this little $15.00 part, and replace it at teh end of the linkage, am I going to have any computer issues since I am simply unplugging it, and replacing it with a new switch? Thanks folks.

yeah, must file the the steering column to access
no it's just the small metal pin in the key switch that connects. that is the problem it is loose and skids for starting the engine. otherwise this is your sensor on the fender
