installing tach in BII?

i recently got a sexy new bronco ii and my dad gave me a tach from an old ricer..
i dont have the book for it & was wondering how i would hook it up.. it has 3 leads:
ground
+12v
and the third is just labeled "tach"

On the coil there is a Green wire with Yellow stripe. That is the tach signal.

ok well i see a green with yellow stripe but its not coming from the coil,
there are 2 more green wires that are actually coming straight from the coil and the markings on both look the same
