Interior main wiring connector problem

I recently got a cheap 2WD 1992 Ranger XLT that I'm fixing up. In the process of removing the dash I've found this main wiring connector that's underneath the drivers side dash, and I can't seem to understand how to remove it. Any ideas?

Look at the big plug on the engine compartment side. There's a bolt right in the center that has to loosened to separate the plug halves; can't remember if it's 8mm or 10mm. Once the bolt is loose, pull the engine side away and you'll see plastic tabs holding the interior connector to the firewall. Pry those tabs unlocked and the inside plug can be pulled away from the firewall.

Not fun. Everything gets stiff with age and heat cycles. Be prepared to wrestle the wire loom around and move it out of the way.
Re-attaching will be fun too, so make sure everything is lined up as you attempt to make the connection. Be sure the pins align as
using the bolt to draw the parts together should only be done once you have it started and are sure the pins all align. And, add some
die-electric grease to slow down water intrusion and prevent corrosion.
