Looking at the passenger side of the engine bay, noticed some sort of paper insulation type material glued on. Is this supposed to be there, or did someone add this on?

Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
It's original (OEM). That's an insulation blanket on the evaporator housing, to make the AC more effecient.
