Sorry for asking such a simple question but... i am in the midst of tearing the whole front end apart to add a locker (ended up going with aussie), do the C-clip eliminator, add manual hubs and all new rotors and pads, along with replace seals and wheel bearings while im there. But i had a hell of a time getting one of my spindles off and in the process unknowingly dinged the surface a few times, i test fit it on the rotor and its doesnt want to go in through the inside bearing. Would it be okay to burnish those dings out until its smooth again or did i totally botch this spindle? i thought i would just relace them but damn! new ones are 150 (used) - 275$ (new) i dont really want to drop that money if i dont have too, but if these are done please let me know and ill end up with a new one.
Will little dings like that affect anything with the bearings?
As always thank you in advance for all your help
