Well i threw my battery and a edelbrock 4-barrel carb in my truck, just to see what it would do, and it cranked a couple times, and started, but didnt run long, since i dont have the alternator wired up yet, but still, been sitting in storage for 9 years, and started right up.....gotta love a ford :)

i have the part # for the pilot bushing you can use to keep from having to replace the input shaft.

It's been awhile but here's an update on the build. Yesterday I took the T5 out in about half an hour. I will be rebuilding it soon, I'm saving up some cash for the rebuild kit. I already have the T5 rebuild book, so me and my dad are gonna take a crack at it. If everything goes as planned, I should have a built up running 302 Ranger by July-August :)
(As you can see, I left the bellhousing in, since its a wet-clutch, I didn't want to mess with all that just yet.)

There's my dad inspecting the T5, I owe my car craziness to him

If your gonna post, don't be the only negative 1 in the thread
LOL, man, you really need to make some room on that work bench!

I think I would be spending more time trying to find what I just set down, than I would actually getting anything done... But I am notorious for setting stuff down in places I tend to never look.

When you mechanic... things get messy. We moved out of a 2 car garage, to a 50x60 ft building and still filled it up.... we just bought a bigger welder, and got more cars and trucks. LOL

Hell yeah things get messy. But I got pissed off at how much time I was wasting by not taking 5-10 minutes to clean up after working on something before I go in and call it a night. Some days I actually spend only cleaning my tools, pick up power tools and put them in their boxes, throw stuff away, etc.

I just moved out of a house w/ a 2 car garage into a house w/ a 3 and it's a cluttered mess, it drives me nuts. I set something down and it took me like 5 minutes to finally find it again. :D

Well, another update for yall. I found out why the T5 wasnt shifting. in the shifter yoke, there is a ball bearing and a spring in the shifter holding it down. The ball bearing wasnt in the groove that it was suppposed to be in, so the shifter would bind up. So thats fixed, it shifts now, so ill be cleaning the inside, putting in new oil in the trans, new gaskets and itll be back in and running :) and in the meantime, heres some update pics of the truck

New bumper

Cleaned up under the hood a bit....BTW the underhood color is "Corvette Blue"

Pretty Close

frame was slightly notched for clearance

Brand New 4-Core Radiator

shifters just sitting there, the trans is still out
