Ginormous pile of engines and transmission at my local yard.
In this picture alone there is at least four 2.9l engines and theres at least three more that I saw scattered elsewhere in the pile.... right where that engine belongs lmao. The 2.9/a4ld from my GT will probably find its home there too ??
What was kool though and that caught my eye was
Yup, a rare fixed yoke 1350 transfercase out of an '87-'89 STX High Rider! Double cardan joint affixed to the rear output suggest it came from a regular cab short bed truck.
Nothing too crazy but I thought it was neat none the less. The truck it came from has longg been gone at this point.
Also in the pile was this poor 2.3 turbo from an '87-'88 Turbocoupe judging by the serpentine belt setup. I did see a 4.0ohv tossed in there as well.
