Has anyone used it? I planed on using it to repaint the reflective part of my headlights which pealed off in some places from masking tape.

The chrome paint does not give a true reflective surface. I have painted model cars/trucks with Krylon and polished them out and you could read a newspaper in the reflection. So it is possible to get a smooth glass like surface, but the reflection will be based on that surface NOT on it being like the chrome plating that comes on the light buckets.
Recommendation - find a local vendor that mods/fixes/repairs emblems, such as those that are gold plated. Some vendors can also do chrome plating on those parts - yes plastic can be plated - it was from factory was it not?

Good Luck and let us know what and how you do it - might be a good tech article.

Hmm thanks for the help, i have thought about the plating option but it will be too expensive to make sense. I can buy new already painted headlights on ebay for not too much.

Ok I tryed a little bit of chrome paint and it was too dull, but this product im thinking about buying is supposed to be different. It is supposed to be so reflective that if you spray it onto a piece of glass it will become a mirror. I just was wondering if anyone had used it and if it will work on the plastic headlight housing surface.

well, if you spray it on glass to make it a mirror, keep in mind that it's on the back side... and then a gray paint is over that to protect it... and the mirror surface is reflective 'cause the glass was smooth and defect free.

painting on a surface and making it super smooth will require many coats and lots of wet sanding to make it work as intended.

good luck.

That might be a better option for how much you'll spend on paint / time painting / sanding them.

just my $.02
