Well, he never went into a court room with us. We sued the insurance company and they settled with us for 60,000. If we went to arbitration there's a good chance we could have gotten 100k+ though. We just got sick of all the BS. His insurance company followed us everywhere. I guess they thought we didn't know but when there's cars parked with binoculars watching the house and the same car driving by 6-8 times in a row, you kind of figure our someones watching. A smart company would have used different cars. Anyway, he didn't even do any time for the drugs, they never tested him. He just got a few fines. Even if he was only doing 40 through there he would have been at fault. It was a double line stretch of road for about a mile. Anyway, back when this happened I was 5'6 and 200 pounds...

The description for this is above in the origional message, but I would also like to point out that he ended up using his car like a wedge, and became lodged under my bumper. Funny as hell the damage his ride took from that. Scraped and crumpled hood, shattered grill, and his bumper was cracked. I guess it was fiberglass or something. Stupid little cars.[/QUOTE]

Thats precisely why I always Have a hitch bar and ball in my reciever. works wonders for little cars who insist on tailgating/rearending........Result not a scratch for me and busted grill, rad, hood, and bumper for them.....LOL

Man that sucks about your Mom and the bull the insurance company pulled.......they never know when to quit. I could see the survalence under differeent circumstance but come on she was smashed into by a strung out moron, not like she had any choice in the matter of getting hit.

Nobody in the truck, no one hurt. Could have been worse.

I was in the garage... looked out and watched it roll of the edge. Scariest moment ever.

I remember that post!:icon_surprised:

Broke my headlights bent my bumper and bent my frame 3". All fixed now except I still need new lights. The Ranger took it like a champ.

Too bad for the infinity that hit me

Some trail carnage from my old stock B2 D28
