I had my first Ranger back around 2001 or so I think, a 94 Reg. cab 4.0 4x4, which I had for a few years, which I eventually traded on a '97 Explorer Sport, which itself was later traded on a '99 Ranger 4.0 Super Cab Step-side 4.0 4x4. I was around on the old RangerPowerSports forum, Serious Explorations, and probably others that I can't remember, when forums were the go-to for everything before Facebook groups or other newer things like that came long. After that I got out of Rangers for many years and have primarily had full size Ford Trucks, most recently a 2018 F-250 Super Duty which is my primary vehicle most of the time.

I wanted a beater/commuter last year and ended up picking up a '97 2.3, regular cab short bed 2WD. It was a completely stock one owner truck, almost entirely rust free. Since I've gotten it, though I do use it to commute with when the weather is decent and there's no salt all over the roads here in PA, it's turned into more a project than a beater and I've been having a lot of fun working on it. In the last year, it's gone from a completely stock truck, to how it currently sits in the pictures.

I've also had a YouTube channel for several years where I do mostly automotive related maintenance and repair videos and have been including the Ranger into some of that since I've gotten it. The latest round of videos document the auto to manual transmission swap that I just finished on this truck. Feel free to check it out, hopefully some of the Ranger videos are interesting or helpful: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLw9Za2R8KSwbWu6Y_Z5qX9Fy9rR3RQSs

Anyways, that's my current truck, I've been lurking here for a while since I got it, but haven't posted anything yet.
