Hi guys I had done the conversion of Automatic hubs to the manual hubs a few months back. All is working however the hubs are clicking or ticking as the wheel rolls I don't hear it in the truck with the A/C on and windows up but am I wearing them out or did I install them wrong? Any ideas ? Thanks
both wheels.

Anyone of you experts have an idea? should I remove a spacer? or is this a natural click, it is not loud but sounds like a very loud clock ticking !

Is it like a ratcheting clicking? or more like something clicking with each wheel rotation?

If the latter, maybe a loose brake pad within the caliper missing it's anti-rattle clip? (I can't think of a whole lot that would cause manual hubs to click... Auto hubs would be a completely different story lol).

Easy enough to pull the hub off, maybe see if there's any evidence of something that's been rubbing inside there (or jack the wheel up and see if you can duplicate the issue turning it by hand).

mine did that one day when i was going to school. what i found it to be was the hub didnt unlock all the way and it was just grinding. .i got out and just locked/unlocked the hubs a few times to get them loosened up and put more grease on them the next time i took them off

Hi guys thanks for the replies I had been away and not able to read your responses. The clicking sounds like a loud click of a ratchet wrench when rolling I hear it when I am close to something to send back the echo to me like a wall or parked car when moving along. Both wheels front. I looked once but saw nothing wearing away or rubbing? Puzzling
