Hey guys,

Been learning about rebuilding a 1971 351C for my ranger and when I was looking over the crank I saw it had a marking that looks like .010.
I was trying to see if its i need undersized bearings for crank and rods, but theirs so much info on the internet about correct size.
Seeing if you all can help.

Main Journals Measure 2.733
Rod Journals Measure, 2.295

Thanks

Garl

ford performance book has 2.749 and 2.311

So, I guess i need to either get a new crank, or grind that one down to .020ths and get undersized mains at .020 under? Youll have to forgive my ignorance, im still learning and theres not many machine shops around me that deal with lower end.

Or is my math off on this....If i have 2.733 and get .010 undersized bearings, that puts me at 2.743... and if you said is supost to be at 2.749, that puts me at .0006 clearance? Thats ok for a street engine from Scats website?
