Evening everyone

I am in the process of changing the Slave Clutch cylinder and the Master Clutch Cylinder. I have the slave all done and now am working on the master.

But I can't get the Damn Push Rod out of the old one to get the clutch interlock disconnect.

What is the best and/or easiest way to remove the push rod that will not come out.

Thanks in advance for your assistance in the past, now and in the future.

IIRC, it doesnt come out of the master, it disconnects at the pedal.

The new master should come with a rod. At least mine did.

Took some doing and some PB Blaster but was finally able to physically force it out. What a pain. I figure it might be OEM as the Bronco II only has 92 k on the odometer.

Found that taking the fender well out helps in removing and replacing the Master Clutch cylinder.

Thanks

Gene
