I added some rear blocks and extended shackles so I wanted to check out the flex again. Theres no better place than Cheapthrillb2's.:headbang:



Heres my bump stop oh i mean shock

Also heres one of the explanger and my dad's project 86 f150. Its sitting on 32s with 2.5" of lift.

Rig lookes wicked man. Good flex! I can't recommend running shock boots thought. After taking mine off and discovering this I will never run them again on this orientation of shock, shaft down, perhaps, but shaft up. no thanks.



PS: I just had a rad arm fail, and thus seriously reinforced. I know you guys wheel hard so I just thought I would submit that for your consideration.

I was just getting ready to comment on the spindly-looking radius arm. I'd be interested to see more information on how you extended them.

I was just getting ready to comment on the spindly-looking radius arm. I'd be interested to see more information on how you extended them.
they are gonna get rebuilt, those were last minute set-up to get the truck mobile.

but what they are now is 1.25x2.50 over the stock arm, then another peice of DOM over that DOM as to double it up, then just a piece of .250 welded in at the bend as a gusset. He plans to rebuild them, and do a wristed arm.

At least they are a known problem and are intended to be rebuilt.

I'm extremely concerned with the overabundance of underbuilt suspension components popping up around here lately. Guys, I can't stress enough the importance of properly designed and built components.
