So im finally to the steering portion of my build. currently my dana44 is tacked in place at 5" forward from stock. im gonna be running high steer on my setup. i know 3" is the ideal limit for axle movement to work correctly. but ive seen some guys on here go as far as 7" with stock steering box placement.
my question is...what issues will i run into by having my axle 5" forward instead of 3". is steering gonna be affected or just front bumper clearance issues?
i would like to figure all this out before the final welding is done and have to figure out my issues the hard way and have to start over.
