commercial fishing at its best[ vid clips]
here are some vid clips of my workplace and related topicshttp://trs.powertvonline.com/video/7118this video shows us running bouyline for the last end, my brother is in the sweater and i'm on the left hand side of the screen. and in case you're wondering, no it is not a shaky vid cam, it is actually pretty rugged out there. it was about 9ft the day that was shot. http://trs.powertvonline.com/video/7120this vid clip shows us coming up and retrieving the bouy's on the first end. i messed up as you can see, by missing the first toss, i got over confident in my skills and told my brother to do a "NORTHWESTERN" in case you have or haven't watched deadliest catch, it's where Sig Hanson challenges jake to the hook toss to see how fast the boat can come up on the bouy and still snag the gear. the current was running pretty hard that day so we approached the gear at @5 knots[ @6.5 miles per hour] and if you think it's easy to snag something that fast, or as some of you may think, slow, try tying a 30ft piece of rope to something with a ball attached to the other side and try to hook it as you drive by at 6.5-7mph. http://trs.powertvonline.com/video/7121this one shows a couple of dolphines, might have to watch it a couple of time to catch them, a hint, watch the left side of the screen about 30ft from the boat.http://trs.powertvonline.com/video/7119this one shows a minute clip of us hauling gear my brother is the one hauling and taking fish off the line our deckhand is the one cleaning and you get a brief shot of me baiting gear.here are some still shots

[/IMG]the first shot shows us approaching a friend and the second shot shows me retrieving a care package[thank god it was calm that day]
[/IMG]this picture shows us getting ready to start snapping hooks on the line.

[/IMG]these two show a grey whale breaching about 50 yards off our side with a seagull messing with him, lucky for the gull the whale hasn't discovered the taste of chicken.
